Solved

When using the "tap to switch" option when looking at student assignments, they need to be in alpha order.

Yes, that would be helpful. Also, when you use the arrows to switch through assignments, how does Homeroom decide which one is next? That may be related to Krystal's question.

That is what I was asking...I didn't know how to phrase it so that it made sense! :)

Andy, just wondering if there is an answer here for Krystal and Josh?

This update is still in the planning stage. We didn't have it marked as high priority since the functionality still works, even though it is annoying.

I'm happy to escalate it and get a patch out sooner if it's something teachers are grumbling about a lot - just let me know.

There seems to be a lot of teachers pointing this out to us and it's probably because we have more teachers using it this year, which is a good thing. It would be great if you could do a patch and I know you would make a lot of teachers very happy!

We have a fix ready to go that will be applied this weekend :)

The patch for this issue went up over the weekend. The students in the dropdown will now always be in alphabetical order, and the arrows should work as expected.
